10 Most Inappropriate Barbies EVER

Since 1959, the Barbie doll has been one of the most popular toys in the world. Throughout the years, the doll has come in various forms, and she has held over 150 different careers. Although many kids look up to the iconic doll, Mattel hasn’t always designed her in a way that can be seen as inspirational. In fact, throughout the years they have made some terrible mistakes with the doll that caused a lot of outrage. From a pregnant doll to an Amy Winehouse version created by an artist, we’ll show you some of the most controversial dolls ever made. This is 10 Most Inappropriate Barbies EVER.

Aside from her love for holding down a job, Barbie is an animal lover, too. In 2006, Mattel created a Barbie that came with a dog, Tanner, and a pooper scooper to clean up his waste. Talk about inappropriate! But if you think that’s bad, just wait until you see the Black Canary Barbie that was designed after the risqué DC comic book character and the Sun Gold Malibu doll that was sporting the worst tan we’ve ever seen.

Then, there was Wash & Watch Barbie that catered to outdated gender roles, and a doll inspired by the Alfred Hitchcock movie “The Birds.” Let’s just say – if you were horrified after watching this scary film, you’ll be even more terrified once you see this doll. You’ll have to see this one to believe it!

  1. I love how the announcers of these videos go along with the myth that the dolls were outrageous. “Wait until you see…” OMG the doll has a suntan!

  2. Some parents are ott I had the midge doll nothing wrong with it and doubt it was promoting anything bad and the rock chick one while I agree the clothing should of been more decent the barbie it’s self was fine.

Different doesn’t mean bad people need to stop worrying about the style of the barbie etc as long as it’s safe and not got choking hazards and it’s dressed appropriately it doesn’t matter.

Let kids pick which dolls they want because they grow up so fast and the world’s got enough issues they need to enjoy themselfs while they can.

  3. I don’t get how some of these are inappropriate. Yeah, some barbies have flaws, but if it’s a chocking hazard, they have to put it on the box. And why complain about the barbie’s flaws? Just don’t buy the doll. And if your child is under the age of 3, and there are tiny pieces, then don’t buy it.

  4. Wait, by the time Midge had a child, she would technically be at least 30-something years old right!?!??! shes not too young, unless she allways stays the same age

  5. I had a pregnant Midge Barbie when I was younger and absolutely loved her. She was my favorite Barbie of all and I spent hours playing house with her and her kids. I don’t see anything wrong with this Barbie and don’t think that young girls would think anything was wrong with it either. The only reason this doll was a problem was because of over sensitive parents.

  6. If the doll came with a sunscreen, wouldn’t it be a choking hazard too? So either way the doll would be on this channel. (Manibul doll -I think-) plus all girls go through puberty.

  7. oreo fun barbie is not impropriate the africian version is to tell that everyonen is diffrent in their own good ways and plus i really like the dish washing barbie is the best might as well tell mattelndont make toys like barbie where little girls like the dolls
