10 School Teens Who Really Showed Up Their Peers

Being a teenager in high school can be rough. As if the teachers and your parents don’t make things tough enough, many of us have been bullied by our peers at one point in time. Maybe you spent a lot of time dreaming about revenge, but worried that you would never actually get to see your plan in action. Well, we have collected the stories of ten people who bravely stood up against those who tormented them. Some of them, like Allen Kurzweil, waited years and years for revenge, living an exceptionally happy and successful life in the meantime. Others, like Olivia Vella, simply couldn’t wait, and called out their tormentors boldly and publicly. Louisa Manning was teased because of her looks when she was a child, but one former bully found her attractive as an adult. She agreed to go out on a date, only to ditch him and leave him with a shocking note. Another girl who was teased for her looks was Victoria Thornewell, who decided to pursue a modelling and pageant career post high school. After her enormous and sudden success, she decided to go into bodybuilding as a way to be happy in her own skin. It might surprise you to know that the man of steel was once teased in high school, but actor Henry Cavill now takes great pleasure in ignoring the people who made his school years miserable with their constant jeers. Kayleigh Cullinan suffered blindness at the hands of a bully, and while recovering from surgery discovered she had a love of music that would take her incredibly far in life.

  1. Bullies need to be punished severely, beyond any punishment previously given. Bullying needs to stop, this is getting ridiculous. We need to socially evolve beyond this. Our schools hallways should be policed by adults. Perhaps we should take a few lessons from China’s school system.
