  1. We all know America’s the only ones who are ACTUALLY going to step up to the plate and take risks and DO something. UN sanctions will just continue to cripple the North Korean economy and harm further the poverty stricken and innocent NK population. In other words, NK leaders will just siphon all resources to themselves to survive and maintain this escalation. This has already been proven when NK was starving in the 90’s and the UN aid was turned away so the NK population would be forced to lean on their own gov and not outside aid. There is no political solution because the NK regime has closed dialogue. I guess the UN always feels the need to look like they’re doing something. There is no room for bureaucracy here – “it takes two” to tango.
