  1. I hope they get Alex Bowman to replace him. Did a nice job subbing last year and if not for contact with Kenseth at Phoenix last November, would have won that race.

  2. Best luck to you Dale! all the respect and good fortune to you on your next step in life, and that’s interesting he’ll race to more races next year

  3. So I was talking to my grandfather about possible re-placement drivers for Junior. We listed the obvious like William Byron. Then my grandfather says “Carl Edwards”. And I go “What?”. Carl Edwards is a possible re-placement for Junior?! Let the speculations start!

  4. Tony and dale should buy NASCAR !maybe that’s why all the sports greats are retiring so young the have finally had enough of NASCAR and trust me when jr leaves NASCAR will feel the pain attendance will plummet and so will the ratings so NASCAR better make sure he wins the title this year lol look out for wacky cautions in talladega !

  5. sorry to say but Larson will be in that 88 next year,,,,get this 24 chase,,,5 Alex,,,,,48 Jimmy an 88 Larson,,,,dream team

  6. Matthew Conway I thought it was Kenseth to retire next after an “announcement”, but it turns out it was new Sponsorship.

  7. First Gordon and now Dale. Well I’m officially retiring from watching NASCAR. Move over on that podium Dale I got a few words to say.

  8. Wright David Ha! I was thinking the same thing while watching the whole conference! He really talked up Larson and Chase while answering a question about NASCAR’s future. I’ll go one step further and say #5 Bowman, #24 Elliott, #88 Larson AND #48 William Byron come 2020!!!

  9. he didn’t race half of last season and the sport did just fine it will be fine next year without him also

  10. jonathon burchard I agree we lost Jeff then tony then carl and now Dale it’s time for NASCAR to retire
